A 4.8-ton MRI machine for the Leipzig University Hospital, with an exterior and interior platform, dismantling of the magnet inside, and installation of a raised floor. It was a lot of work, but everything worked as usual.
Afterwards, an old magnet, a Sonata, was also removed from a nearby practice (Johannesplatz). It weighed 5 tons and was lowered using a heavy-duty scaffold. This is where the crane’s strengths really come into play. No permit (870 euros) was required because the crane operation involved minimal use of the road (see photo).
