A picturesque location in the heart of the city at Gare de Lyon and just the right place to work with heavy machinery on a sunny Sunday. The task was to lift a 6-ton MRI machine over a 7-story old building into a courtyard and install it in a radiology practice.
For this, two lanes were closed to set up a 200-ton crane. Equipped with 6 counterweights, it threaded the magnet through the roof of the building into the courtyard. It looked very spectacular from the inside. The effort required for the installation of this device was unusually high.
Nevertheless, at the end of the day, all equipment was in place, unpacked, positioned, and the remaining items were back on the truck. It was a Herculean task because parking permits for the Paris city center left no room for weekdays.
